Until October 2024, Continuous was fully bootstrapped. We funded ourselves by delivering software architecture, DevOps and optimization consulting — and by building boutique, bespoke software for large organizations and governments making critical decisions.
Those projects did two things. They financed the development of our own products while we were bootstrapped. And, just as importantly, they sharpened the team's understanding of how executives can — and should — take swift decisions when there's plenty of data, some of it only estimated, and where good decision-making demands what-if scenarios.
That hard-won perspective is the DNA of every product we ship today, starting with aangine.
